Information packets consisting of resource materials collected from one or more NSDC members can be prepared by the National Office. These materials demonstrate the wide variety of activities in which members are involved. They include the following:

• brochures describing the various study councils;

• descriptions of the various study councils' services;

• calendars of events for professional development programs;

• sample program and professional development brochures;

• lists of current publications;

• list of workshop/conference speakers and facilitators.

Each year at the council's annual meeting, two awards are made:

Executive Secretary Exchange 

An annual award (up to $500) to provide for a director's visit to another council's headquarters for the sharing of organizational and program experiences.

Cooperative Leadership

The presentation of an award to recognize the leadership of a local educator nominated by a member study council.
